Electoral violence has become a recurring challenge in Uganda, posing a significant threat to democracy, political stability and human security. Recognizing the complex interplay of political, socio-economic, ethnic and historical factors influencing electoral conflicts, NIMD seeks to analyze the potential impact of upcoming elections in 2025/26 on peace and stability in the hotspots.
