After 20 years of supporting inclusive democracy worldwide, NIMD has now worked with political parties in countless contexts. One thing that unites them all is the need for dialogue ‘around a noisy table’ – a dialogue that has many voices, and reaches across the spectrum of society. Such a dialogue gives a voice to the voiceless, and can unlock the most complicated of issues, be it war, discrimination, our environment, or something else entirely. This is why democracy matters, and it starts with dialogue.
