Ugandan politicians: ‘give dialogue a chance’ – 2010
Since 2009, NIMD has been working hard to encourage interparty dialoguein Uganda. In 2010, the six parliamentary parties, with NIMD’s support, established an informal interparty dialogue process (IPOD). This marked a turning point in multiparty politics in Uganda, as both the ruling and opposition party committed to regularly engaging with each other in a dialogue process aimed at addressing challenges facing Uganda.
