Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI)
The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) supports small-scale but high-impact initiatives which align with the action areas that guide the Government of Canada’s international assistance.  The program is directed at initiatives conceived and designed predominantly by local organizations. Initiatives are selected and approved by the Canadian Embassy.

Demo Finland
Political Parties of Finland for Democracy, Demo Finland, functions as a co-operative organisation for Finnish parliamentary parties. It seeks to enhance democracy by carrying out and facilitating collaborative projects between Finnish political parties and political movements in developing countries.

Department for International Development (DFID)
The Department for International Development (DFID) leads the UK’s work to end extreme poverty. We are tackling the global challenges of our time including poverty and disease, mass migration, insecurity and conflict. Our work is building a safer, healthier, more prosperous world for people in developing countries and in the UK too.

DGF

Democratic Governance Facility (DGF)
The Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) was initially established in July 2011 by eight Development Partners (DPs): Austria, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the European Union, as a five-year governance programme aimed at providing harmonized, coherent and well-coordinated support to state and non-state entities to strengthen democratization, protect human rights, improve access to justice and enhance accountability in Uganda.

The EU provides funding for a broad range of projects and programmes covering areas such as regional & urban development, employment & social inclusion, agriculture & rural development, maritime & fisheries policies, research & innovation, and humanitarian aid.

Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Development policy is an important part of Finland’s foreign and security policy. Development cooperation is one means to implement the policy. Development cooperation provides millions of people with a chance for a better life. The aim of development policy is to support developing countries’ efforts to eradicate poverty and inequality and promote sustainable development.

The Fund for Global Human Rights

For more than 15 years, the Fund for Global Human Rights, a public foundation, has provided financial and strategic support to catalyze the work of trailblazing activists. With the Fund’s partnership, human rights activists and organizations effectively address abuses of power and systemic inequality in more than 20 countries.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs The Netherlands

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs works hard to promote Dutch interests and values around the world. Their embassies, consulates and permanent representations in around 150 countries function as both political antennae and their voice abroad. They assist Dutch nationals abroad and negotiate and cooperate on many issues in the European Union and in organizations like NATO and the United Nations.

Swedish development cooperation is part of a global cooperation in which Sweden is one of many participants. In order to carry out its work, Sida cooperates with Swedish government agencies, organizations and international bodies like the UN, the EU and the World Bank.

Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA)

Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA)
The FDFA safeguards the foreign policy interests of Switzerland. As set out in the Swiss Federal Constitution, the nation’s independence, security and welfare are the top priorities. Swiss foreign policy, for its part, holds to the values of alleviating poverty and hardship in the world, respecting human rights, promoting democracy, promoting the peaceful coexistence of people and conserving natural resources.

United Nations Development Program (UNDP)
UNDP works in about 170 countries and territories, helping to achieve the eradication of poverty, and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion. They help countries to develop policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities and build resilience in order to sustain development results.

United Nations Peacebuilding Fund (UNPBF)
The United Nations Peacebuilding Fund (PBF) is currently supporting more than 120 projects in 25 countries by delivering fast, flexible and relevant funding. Since its creation to the end of 2015, PBF allocated $623 million to 33 countries to help prevent (re)lapse into conflict and sustain peace.
