Discussieer met ons mee over jonge politieke leiders<\/strong> van over de hele wereld hoe de kloof tussen jongeren en politiek te overbruggen!<\/p>\n

De wereld erkent steeds meer de dringende noodzaak om jongeren bij de politiek te betrekken. Meer aandacht voor de jeugd moet echter hand in hand gaan met een meer begrip voor jongeren<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jongeren nemen actief deel aan het burgerleven en leiden bewegingen, maar ze vertegenwoordigen wereldwijd slechts 2,8% van de parlementsleden en de opkomst bij verkiezingen voor jongeren is laag. Hun actieve deelname aan het politieke leven vertaalt zich niet naar de formele politieke sferen en jongeren lijken steeds ontevredener over hoe de democratie voor hen heeft uitgepakt. Zorgen voor politieke participatie van jongeren is echter cruciaal voor het bereiken van Duurzame Ontwikkelingsdoelstelling 16, die inclusieve samenlevingen en instellingen bevordert.<\/p>\n

Hoe kunnen we de kloof tussen jongeren en politiek overbruggen<\/strong>? Hoe kunnen we ervoor zorgen dat jongeren niet alleen aan tafel zitten, maar dat er ook naar hun stem wordt geluisterd en met hen wordt samengewerkt?<\/p>\n
