Ze heeft te maken gehad met discriminerende en homofobe aanvallen op sociale media, een verzoek om haar uit haar zetel te zetten en politieke vervreemding omdat ze in het Congres een progressieve agenda nastreefde.<\/p>\n<p>Toch blijft ze vechten voor de mensenrechten van vrouwen en de LGBTI- en inheemse gemeenschappen.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/304849995\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/304849995\">Met mijn eigen stem<\/a> van <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/nimd\">NIMD<\/a> op <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\">Vimeo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sandra Mor\u00e1n is een vrouw die in opstand is gekomen tegen de patriarchale en autoritaire tradities van Guatemala en die vandaag de dag, in haar rol als lid van het Congres, de mensenrechten en belangen van minderheidsgroepen vertegenwoordigt die vaak worden gemarginaliseerd in het wetgevingsproces.<\/p>\n<p><em>NIMD is trots en vereerd dat ze Sandra heeft kunnen steunen bij haar lokale inspanningen.
