Met deze sancties zullen vrouwen beter in staat zijn om hun politieke rechten uit te oefenen en hun plaats aan de tafel in te nemen.<\/p>\n<p>In ons werk bevordert NIMD maatregelen om geweld tegen de politiek te stoppen. NIMD Colombia werkt samen met het Congres en politieke partijen om de dialoog over het onderwerp en consensus over de goedkeuring van dergelijke initiatieven als wetgeving aan te moedigen.<\/p>\n<h3>De studie: Vrouwen en politieke participatie in Colombia<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/colombia.nimd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/El-feno%CC%81meno-de-la-Violencia-contra-las-Mujeres-en-Poli%CC%81tica-Agosto-2017.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Het onderzoek van NIMD<\/a> naar geweld tegen vrouwen in de politiek wil kennis en bewustzijn verspreiden over het geweld waaronder veel vrouwen in de politiek lijden. Met een focus op de Colombiaanse context geeft het onderzoek duidelijke aanbevelingen over hoe deze belangrijke barri\u00e8re voor vrouwen in de politiek kan worden bestreden.<\/p>\n<div class=\"issuuembed\" style=\"width: 525px; height: 340px;\" data-configid=\"28295668\/63965960\"><\/div>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"\/\/e.issuu.com\/embed.js\" async=\"true\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h3>De Colombiaanse context<\/h3>\n<p>Colombia staat voor een uniek moment in zijn geschiedenis: de mogelijkheid om vrede op te bouwen en te consolideren na het einde van het gewapende conflict met de FARC. Een van de grootste uitdagingen voor het land zal zijn om ervoor te zorgen dat de politiek voor iedereen werkt en dat verschillende groepen goed vertegenwoordigd zijn in inclusieve politieke processen.
