NIMD's kantoor in Benin heeft de tweede trainingssessie van de 2018 School of Politics gehouden. De training liep van 29 juni tot 1 juli en richt zich op de uitdagingen van decentralisatie in Benin.<\/p>\n

Deelnemers leerden van Camille Dossou, expert in lokaal bestuur en Vincent Acakpo, burgemeester van de stad Dogbo.<\/p>\n

NIMD's scholen<\/h3>\n

De NIMD-scholen voor democratie<\/a>\u00a0en Schools of Politics brengen politici en toekomstige leiders uit het hele politieke spectrum samen. Vanaf de eerste dag verwerven de deelnemers de vaardigheden die ze nodig hebben om politiek leider te worden. En ze bestuderen belangrijke democratische principes zoals gelijkheid, ethiek en inclusie.<\/p>\n

Daarnaast bestuderen ze belangrijke uitdagingen voor hun land, zoals decentralisatie in Benin, om een grondig inzicht te krijgen in de context en de kwesties die belangrijk zullen zijn in hun werk.<\/p>\n

Net zo belangrijk is dat de deelnemers, door over de partijgrenzen heen samen te werken, elkaar goed leren kennen; ze bouwen relaties op en leren elkaar te vertrouwen. Dit legt de basis voor een breed en sterk netwerk van democratische leiders.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
