De 11th<\/sup> editie van de Myanmar School of Politics (MySoP)<\/a> De kerncursus ging op 20 maart 2018 van start in Shan State (Noord) Myanmar.<\/p>\n

De voorzitter van de verkiezingssubcommissie (Shan State, Noord) opende de 17 trainingsdagen met een toespraak waarin hij aangaf er sterk van overtuigd te zijn dat niet alleen politieke partijen, maar ook Shan State als geheel baat zullen hebben bij MySoP.<\/p>\n

Gezien het bestaan van verschillende etnische groepen en gewapende groeperingen, samen met verschillende politieke partijen binnen de deelstaat Shan, zou de door MySoP aangeboden dialoog tussen meerdere partijen leiden tot betere samenwerking voor de ontwikkeling van de deelstaat Shan in de toekomst, voegde hij eraan toe.<\/p>\n

De cursus wordt gehouden in de prachtige stad Hsipaw, gelegen in de heuvels van de staat Shan, en brengt 15 politici op staatsniveau (acht mannen, zeven vrouwen) van negen politieke partijen samen met de Subcommissie Verkiezingen om een dialoog aan te gaan en samen te leren in een neutrale, respectvolle, meerpartijenomgeving.<\/p>\n

Samen zullen de deelnemers politieke theorie bestuderen en hun democratische vaardigheden oefenen. Het cursusprogramma omvat politieke ideologie\u00ebn, gender in de politiek, het schrijven van toespraken, campagne voeren, beleidsvorming, dialoog, economische ontwikkeling en het vredesproces.<\/p>\n

De Myanmar School of Politics is een gezamenlijk programma van NIMD en\u00a0Demo Finland<\/a>.
