Op 30-31 maart kwamen jonge politici met verschillende politieke achtergronden uit de hele zuidelijke Kaukasus en Oekra\u00efne samen om te discussi\u00ebren over de resultaten en uitdagingen van de democratische processen in de regio. Verkiezingscampagnes en de rol van de media in de democratische processen, de deelname van vrouwen aan het besluitvormingsproces en de versterking van de democratie in de regio werden besproken.cal zelfbestuur waren slechts enkele kwesties die in dit forum naar voren kwamen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bijzonder dit jaar was de keynote speech van de voormalige Nederlandse minister van Defensie, Eimert van Middelkoop, en de deelname van vijf Nederlandse politieke jongerenorganisaties. De jongerenorganisaties gaven een presentatie over de rol en het functioneren van hun organisaties in Nederland. Nederlandse politieke jongerenorganisaties behoren tot de best georganiseerde jongerenorganisaties in Europa, mede dankzij hun solide interne systemen. Het doel van de Nederlandse deelnemers was om jonge politici in de regio te inspireren en ook om door hen ge\u00efnspireerd te worden en idee\u00ebn uit te wisselen. De volgende jongerenorganisaties namen deel: CDJA (Christen Democratisch App\u00e8l Partij), DWARS (Groene Partij), Perspectief (ChristenUnie Partij), Jonge Democraten (Democraten 66 Partij), Jonge Socialisten (Partij van de Arbeid).<\/p>\n

Democratie is een doorlopend en zich steeds ontwikkelend proces in de zuidelijke Kaukasus en Oekra\u00efne. Het Vierde Forum van Jonge Politici van de zuidelijke Kaukasus en Oekra\u00efne blijft een cruciaal platform voor politiek en beleidsdebat door de toekomstige besluitvormers van de regio. Het werd georganiseerd door NIMD's Oost-Europese Neighbourhood kantoor met steun van het UK Conflict, Stability and Security Fund, het parlement van Georgi\u00eb en de Koninklijke Nederlandse Ambassade in Georgi\u00eb en Armeni\u00eb.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
