Esta nueva fase conlleva sus propios retos: los electores tienen grandes expectativas puestas en su nuevo gobierno y los diputados tienen que equilibrar m\u00faltiples intereses al tiempo que inician un nuevo mandato (y quiz\u00e1 el primero de su vida) como parlamentarios. Pero esto supone una oportunidad para la Escuela de Pol\u00edtica de Myanmar (MySoP), cuyo trabajo pretende reforzar el papel democr\u00e1tico de los pol\u00edticos y los partidos pol\u00edticos a nivel regional y estatal, y mejorar la pr\u00e1ctica del di\u00e1logo multipartidista. MySoP cuenta con el apoyo de NIMD y <a href=\"https:\/\/demofinland.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Demo Finlandia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Formaci\u00f3n especializada para nuevos parlamentarios<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MySoP aprovech\u00f3 esta oportunidad para organizar el Foro \"C\u00f3mo ser un gran parlamentario\", un acto multipartidista de cinco d\u00edas de duraci\u00f3n celebrado en diciembre que ofreci\u00f3 formaci\u00f3n y apoyo a los parlamentarios reci\u00e9n elegidos. El Foro constaba de tres componentes principales: conocimientos parlamentarios y elaboraci\u00f3n de leyes, aptitudes pr\u00e1cticas y cuestiones pol\u00edticas importantes en Myanmar. M\u00e1s de 30 parlamentarios, representantes de una docena de partidos pol\u00edticos de seis regiones de Myanmar, se reunieron en el evento.<\/p>\n<p>No es la primera vez que MySoP presta este apoyo tras el ciclo electoral. La selecci\u00f3n de ponentes y temas de la semana de MySoP se dise\u00f1\u00f3 para dotar a los nuevos diputados de conocimientos te\u00f3ricos y pr\u00e1cticos que les ayuden a ser diputados eficaces y con mentalidad democr\u00e1tica. Los temas tratados durante el Foro incluyeron las funciones espec\u00edficas, los procedimientos y las oficinas del gobierno de Myanmar, as\u00ed como las habilidades para hablar en p\u00fablico y los principios de las negociaciones multipartidistas.<\/p>\n<p>Pero un foro, a diferencia de la ense\u00f1anza acad\u00e9mica, se centra en el aprendizaje a trav\u00e9s de la experiencia compartida y el di\u00e1logo. Por ello, el Foro \"C\u00f3mo ser un gran diputado\" de MySoP brind\u00f3 a los participantes la oportunidad de escuchar las experiencias de quienes est\u00e1n m\u00e1s avanzados en su carrera pol\u00edtica, como los vicepresidentes de los parlamentos regionales de Myanmar y sus colegas diputados.<\/p>\n<p>El primer d\u00eda, los participantes tuvieron la oportunidad de escuchar al Vicepresidente del Parlamento del Estado de Mon, el Dr. Aung Naing Oo, del Partido de la Unidad Mon. En el Foro comparti\u00f3 sus cinco consejos para ser un parlamentario fiable, que giraban en torno a escuchar a la poblaci\u00f3n local (tanto si te han votado como si no) y aceptar plenamente la responsabilidad de tus actos y decisiones como parlamentario. El Sr. Berman estuvo acompa\u00f1ado por Anne luwema, Embajadora de los Pa\u00edses Bajos en Myanmar. Hablando de la experiencia holandesa de la pol\u00edtica multipartidista, dijo que \"el mundo acad\u00e9mico, los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, la sociedad civil, los l\u00edderes de cada parte de la sociedad se unen para fortalecer la democracia. La democracia nos pide a cada uno que hagamos nuestra parte; si queremos un gobierno del pueblo para el pueblo, lo fundamental es nuestra participaci\u00f3n en nuestros sistemas\". Tras hablar con los diputados y escuchar sus historias, cerr\u00f3 su sesi\u00f3n diciendo a los asistentes: \"Este grupo sabe c\u00f3mo hacer que Myanmar progrese y tenga un futuro mejor. Una nueva generaci\u00f3n de constructores de puentes\".<\/p>\n<p>La Embajada de los Pa\u00edses Bajos en Myanmar tambi\u00e9n envi\u00f3 a su Jefa de Asuntos Pol\u00edticos, Tessa Scholman, para hablar con los nuevos parlamentarios. Scholman respondi\u00f3 a sus preguntas sobre c\u00f3mo el Parlamento neerland\u00e9s media entre los partidos y fomenta su cooperaci\u00f3n.
