En los \u00faltimos 12 meses se han sucedido las pol\u00e9micas en torno a las elecciones, los candidatos y el dinero en efectivo. Sin embargo, el giro del Movimiento de Resistencia Nacional (MRN), en el poder, ha provocado un posible cambio de tendencia.<\/p>\n<p>El s\u00e1bado 10<sup>th<\/sup> noviembre, Yoweri Museveni, Presidente de Uganda desde 1986, mantuvo una reuni\u00f3n con una delegaci\u00f3n del Consejo de la Organizaci\u00f3n Interpartidaria para el Di\u00e1logo (IPOD) y el NIMD. El Consejo de la IPOD visit\u00f3 a Museveni, que tambi\u00e9n preside el NRM, en la Casa del Estado, tras una reuni\u00f3n previa celebrada el mismo d\u00eda en la sede del partido gobernante, donde el consejo se reuni\u00f3 con altos dirigentes del partido. En una declaraci\u00f3n emitida a trav\u00e9s de las redes sociales esta semana, el Presidente declar\u00f3:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Por lo tanto, he dado luz verde para que la cumbre IPOD se celebre en Kampala el 12 de diciembre de 2018 en la que se espera que asistan todos los l\u00edderes de los Partidos pol\u00edticos de la oposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>- Yoweri K Museveni (@KagutaMuseveni) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KagutaMuseveni\/status\/1061603810811019265?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">11 de noviembre de 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Se trata de un gran logro para todas las partes implicadas y para el trabajo de IPOD. A lo largo de nueve a\u00f1os de trabajo en Uganda, IPOD ha servido con \u00e9xito a los partidos pol\u00edticos de todo el pa\u00eds como foro abierto para el debate pol\u00edtico, la formaci\u00f3n y la cooperaci\u00f3n. Con la inclusi\u00f3n de Museveni y el NRM, la plataforma puede forjar un nuevo camino para la pol\u00edtica multipartidista en Uganda. La apertura del di\u00e1logo entre los partidos gobernantes y los grupos de la oposici\u00f3n es un pilar fundamental para la estabilidad pol\u00edtica y la cohesi\u00f3n del gobierno.<\/p>\n<p>Como seguimiento de la luz verde dada por el Presidente a la celebraci\u00f3n de una cumbre de l\u00edderes de partidos pol\u00edticos en diciembre, el 14 de noviembre el NIMD facilit\u00f3 un retiro del consejo de IPOD. Hubo un alto nivel de participaci\u00f3n entre todos los partidos pol\u00edticos miembros.
