Cuando ofrecemos nuestro apoyo a un pa\u00eds en su camino hacia la democratizaci\u00f3n, nos centramos en su singular cultura pol\u00edtica y en las personas que tienen la voluntad de hacerla realidad.<\/p>\n<p>Por ello, nuestro trabajo se caracteriza por personas inspiradoras que dedican su vida al cambio pol\u00edtico positivo. Las historias que hay detr\u00e1s de estas personas son extraordinarias y nos ofrecen lecciones a todos mientras trabajamos juntos por una sociedad global m\u00e1s inclusiva. Aqu\u00ed nos gustar\u00eda compartir algunas de estas historias y explicar c\u00f3mo NIMD ayud\u00f3 a apoyar sus aspiraciones pol\u00edticas y a las comunidades que se benefician de ellas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Samar Zaidi y Rabia Arfa, Escuela de Pol\u00edtica de T\u00fanez<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6714\" src=\"http:\/\/nimd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/SAM_2713.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"341\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Samar y Rabia son dos graduadas de la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tsop.tn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Escuela Tunecina de Pol\u00edtica (TSoP)<\/a>. Sin embargo, proceden de extremos opuestos del espectro pol\u00edtico de su pa\u00eds; Samar es miembro de la alianza de partidos Front Populaire (un partido de la oposici\u00f3n), mientras que Rabia es miembro del partido gobernante Nidaa Tounes. Ambas fueron admitidas en la escuela por sus respectivos partidos, que seleccionan a sus mejores y m\u00e1s brillantes miembros j\u00f3venes para que participen en los cursos anuales del TSoP.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nimd.org\/es\/teaching-a-new-generation-the-profession-of-politics-in-tunisia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lea su historia<\/a> para ver c\u00f3mo el TSoP cambi\u00f3 sus perspectivas y dio forma a sus carreras pol\u00edticas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Demwozie Mammie, Formaci\u00f3n en redacci\u00f3n jur\u00eddica en Etiop\u00eda<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6713\" src=\"http:\/\/nimd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/DSC_1028.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"340\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Demwozie, que ya era un abogado experimentado, reconoci\u00f3 la necesidad de contar con m\u00e1s redactores de leyes experimentados para apoyar un gobierno et\u00edope eficaz. Cuando el NIMD inici\u00f3 su programa de formaci\u00f3n en redacci\u00f3n legislativa en el pa\u00eds el a\u00f1o pasado, aprovech\u00f3 la oportunidad para mejorar sus propios conocimientos, antes de convertirse en un formador capacitado que pudiera transmitirlos.<\/p>\n<p>El taller de Formaci\u00f3n de Formadores (FdF) se organiz\u00f3 como parte del Plan de Socios Estrat\u00e9gicos de NIMD en Etiop\u00eda. Demwozie fue un participante muy activo cuando se incorpor\u00f3 a su primera sesi\u00f3n de ToT en marzo y, en diciembre, ya se hab\u00eda preparado para transmitir sus nuevos conocimientos a sus conciudadanos. Fue su esfuerzo personal lo que hizo que el programa ToT tuviera el mayor impacto posible, ya que sus alumnos pudieron planificar sus propias lecciones de la misma forma estructurada y comprensible.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre Demwozie <a href=\"https:\/\/nimd.org\/es\/our-work-in-ethiopia-strengthening-legal-drafting-skills\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madona Batiashvili, Escuela de Democracia de Georgia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6712 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/nimd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Madona.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"341\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La historia de Madona es realmente \u00fanica, ya que es la \u00fanica mujer vicealcaldesa de la regi\u00f3n georgiana de Kakheti y alumna de una de las cuatro escuelas democr\u00e1ticas de Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>Las Escuelas de la Democracia del NIMD tratan de capacitar a grupos diversos para que trabajen juntos, de modo que puedan gobernar en colaboraci\u00f3n en nombre de todos los ciudadanos. Madona admiti\u00f3 que hist\u00f3ricamente le hab\u00eda resultado dif\u00edcil escuchar y llegar a acuerdos con personas de distintas afiliaciones pol\u00edticas. Las clases le ense\u00f1aron a debatir, analizar e incorporar m\u00e1s eficazmente opiniones divergentes, alimentando una actitud integradora que personifica su Vicepresidencia.<\/p>\n<p>Madona aprovecha su cargo de Vicealcaldesa para abrir la puerta a quienes antes estaban excluidos de la pol\u00edtica en Georgia, en particular las mujeres y los j\u00f3venes.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre la historia de Madona <a href=\"https:\/\/nimd.org\/es\/empowering-a-local-leader-to-make-a-difference-in-georgia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>F\u00e1tima Mena, Academia de Candidatas NIMD Honduras<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6711 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/nimd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/foto-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"317\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Licenciada en Derecho y devota cristiana, F\u00e1tima siempre lleva dos cosas en el bolso: un ejemplar de la Constituci\u00f3n de Honduras y una Biblia. Ambos le recuerdan su apoyo inquebrantable a los principios democr\u00e1ticos y la idea de que nuestro trabajo diario puede tener un enorme impacto en la vida de los dem\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>A los 31 a\u00f1os, F\u00e1tima fue elegida diputada. Con ello bati\u00f3 el r\u00e9cord de votos obtenidos por una candidata de un partido pol\u00edtico emergente. A pesar de las barreras existentes, sobre todo en t\u00e9rminos de medios de comunicaci\u00f3n hostiles y un discurso pol\u00edtico dominado por los hombres, fue capaz de reunir a representantes femeninas de m\u00faltiples partidos. Tuvimos la suerte de trabajar junto a Hermenegildo, que realmente refleja los principios de NIMD de an\u00e1lisis cuidadoso, fe en el di\u00e1logo y b\u00fasqueda de un impacto a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p>Como Director Ejecutivo de nuestra oficina en Mozambique, Hermenegildo impuls\u00f3 nuevas opciones de financiaci\u00f3n y apoyo interpartidista en Mozambique. Esto culmin\u00f3 con la fundaci\u00f3n de un nuevo organismo independiente, el Instituto para la Democracia Multipartidista de Mozambique (IMD Mozambique), que continuar\u00e1 la labor de NIMD.
