{"id":18624,"date":"2017-01-25T16:11:01","date_gmt":"2017-01-25T16:11:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nimd.org\/nimd-awepa-consortium-signs-memoranda-of-understanding-as-programme-kicks-off-in-ethiopia\/"},"modified":"2025-07-22T11:18:02","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T11:18:02","slug":"nimd-awepa-consortium-signs-memoranda-of-understanding-as-programme-kicks-off-in-ethiopia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nimd.org\/es\/nimd-awepa-consortium-signs-memoranda-of-understanding-as-programme-kicks-off-in-ethiopia\/","title":{"rendered":"El Consorcio NIMD-AWEPA firma Memorandos de Entendimiento en el arranque del programa en Etiop\u00eda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Una delegaci\u00f3n del NIMD y del <a href=\"http:\/\/www.awepa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Asociaci\u00f3n de Parlamentarios Europeos con \u00c1frica (AWEPA)<\/a> viajaron a Etiop\u00eda para firmar memorandos de entendimiento, un tipo de acuerdo formal en el que se esbozan los t\u00e9rminos y detalles de su colaboraci\u00f3n en un nuevo programa en Etiop\u00eda, puesto en marcha en enero de 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Las organizaciones firmaron sendos MdE con la C\u00e1mara de Representantes del Pueblo y el Parlamento del Estado Regional de Oromia, conocido como Caffee Oromia. Fueron la culminaci\u00f3n de varios meses de consultas entre el consorcio NIMD-AWEPA y las dos legislaturas.<\/p>\n<p>Un tercer Memorando de Entendimiento, con la Junta Electoral Nacional de Etiop\u00eda (NEBE), se encuentra en la fase final de elaboraci\u00f3n y se espera que se firme en breve.<\/p>\n<p>Los tres acuerdos forman parte de un programa m\u00e1s amplio que, en el marco de la <a href=\"https:\/\/nimd.org\/es\/towards-participative-and-inclusive-reforms-in-benin-an-interparty-dialogue-workshop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Asociaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica NIMD-AWEPA<\/a> con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.government.nl\/ministries\/ministry-of-foreign-affairs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de los Pa\u00edses Bajos<\/a>tendr\u00e1 como objetivo contribuir a la consolidaci\u00f3n de la democracia en Etiop\u00eda.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4138\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4138\" style=\"width: 580px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4138 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/nimd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/DSC_0004.jpg\" width=\"580\" height=\"329\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4138\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NIMD, AWEPA y la Embajada en la firma del MoU con el Caffee.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El programa se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en cooperaci\u00f3n con el tercer socio de la Asociaci\u00f3n Estrat\u00e9gica en Etiop\u00eda, la Embajada de los Pa\u00edses Bajos en Addis, tambi\u00e9n representada en las ceremonias de firma. Los socios trabajar\u00e1n con ambos partidos pol\u00edticos y parlamentos para desarrollar capacidades y promover el di\u00e1logo.<\/p>\n<p>Para ello, la asociaci\u00f3n trabajar\u00e1 a dos niveles: nacional y regional. A nivel federal, prestar\u00e1 apoyo a la C\u00e1mara de Representantes del Pueblo, al NEBE y a los partidos pol\u00edticos et\u00edopes. A nivel regional, prestar\u00e1 apoyo a las asambleas legislativas regionales y a los partidos pol\u00edticos. Aunque el consorcio est\u00e1 trabajando con un parlamento regional en la fase inicial, se espera que el programa se ampl\u00ede a otras regiones en el futuro.<\/p>\n<p>El Memorando de Entendimiento con la C\u00e1mara de Representantes del Pueblo se firm\u00f3 el 25 de enero.
