This was the advice that Malawi’s former Vice President, Dr. Justin Malewezi offered to 18 politicians drawn from all the member political parties of the Malawi Centre for Multiparty Democracy (CMD-Malawi) at the graduation ceremony of their political leadership training.
The Centre for Multiparty Democracy – Malawi (CMD-M) is a membership organisation principally for political parties who are represented in the National Assembly of Malawi.
The aim of this exchange visit was to share experiences on how dialogue between electoral management bodies and political parties can contribute to a transparent electoral process.
